Tech M&A Banker,
Is there still any chance of getting into analyst programs for this fall? I'm interested in IB, ECM or DCM. I did three years of college and am in grad school abroad for a year. I didn't get interviews via campus recruiting I could have if I stayed in the US. Probably a bad judgement call, but can't do anything about that now.
Should I just keep sending resumes and hope that there are places left? Apparently Chase has a January program and they start recruiting in the fall. Do any other banks have this program? If I send my resumes now, will recruiters just toss them out?
So if I don't get into an i-bank this year and want to try for next year, what kinds of jobs do you recommend in this gap year?
