Message: I realize that this might seem trivial to many of you alreading working in the industry, but I will appreciate your help as I'm sure other people that are just joining i-banking would. When they say business casual, what exactly are they talking about. Is it simply suit-type pants and shirt with no tie, or are you allowed to wear kakhis or a blue shirt, etc. I understand this might change from bank to bank, but what is the general standard in top tier banks. Also, as far as suits are concerned, what is the adequate type to wear at work. I believe my bank will require suit during the winter. How many would be prudent to buy. Any other advice on clothing please post, it would be really useful.
