thats right.. Salomon has gotta be up there.. leading equity house in Asia.. top M&A asia house.. huge in europe after schroeders...
WDR cuts it in Europe only.. sure.. DB might be "top 5" "globally".. but we'll have to wait and see in the U.S.. its still Bear, Stearns size in the U.S.. by no means BB yet |

just joined DB from CSFB (ABS)... we wouldn't had come here if we didn't think there was potential.. they got top equities house this quarter in europe.. hit top 3 in IPOs this quarter.. will kick ass in ABS now!.. got tapped for the Seoulbank restructuring.. some good shit..
the only thing these guys really need to do, though, is get their spread out IT/Ops/HR people together, stop the frankfurt/london/newyork infighting (who cares if you're legacy BT/MG/MS/GS/Leh.. whatever) and buy some damn M&A bankers...
other than that, i think the firms making some huge momentum..
