By the time the market opens, it's only 6:30 in CA. Analysts (and assistants and associates) have to be in at least a couple of hours before that for the morning meetings. And even after the market closes, equity research work goes on talking to companies and buy-side guys. So, it's possible that hours may be close to 90 to 100.
