As an analyst starting this summer, I am curious to know about the perks provided. In particular, is it possible to expense things like a laptop, pda, or cell phone. Do some firms provide these to analysts or do i have to spend my own money. Additionally, do they pay for lunch too? or just dinner. thanks |

Haven't you heard? There is no such thing as a free lunch on Wall Street!
PS: I wouldn't hold your breath on reimbursement for all the gadgets and toys. You'll likely get a free pager (gee thanks!) so they can reach you at 3 am, a partially subsidized cell phone, and the opportunity to check out a laptop for when you hit the road to meet with companies. Free dinner/cab rides if you work late at night (you can bet on that happening, too).
