Go back to your trading desk, you moron, and quit hanging around the IB message boards masturbating while fantasizing about how it would have been if you were a banker!
While you are correct that most "big shots" on The Street did "just barely pass" the 7 & 63, that is because they were hired more than a few moons ago.
I know of two banking groups that now fire Analysts who score below 90% on the 7 (one is a BB in a regional market, the other is 2nd-tier).
If you are a prospect, do NOT listen to the people on this thread saying that your 7 & 63 scores are unimportant as long as you pass; if you hop from one firm to another below the VP level, you MAY have to show your scores. |

Let me get this straight. I am a trader, so I do my business and go home to my wife soon after the closing bell rings. You are an I-banker, so you are often proofreading and photocopying pitchbooks and models alone in the office till 2 in the morning.
Now answer me this, and be honest about it - which one of us is really sitting in front of his computer and touching his ding-a-ling? Get real.
