The top three banks today are:
GS, MSDW, ML (questionable).
what do people see as the top 3 in 5 years time? GS, MSDW will probably stay, but ML might be out (is it out already???).
who will replace ML?
CSFB?
DB?
JPM?
SSB?
BofA?????
Any thoughts? |

Look.. no matter what people think about its prestige... ML ranks as a top firm in the league tables.
Other than the GS/MS/ML trilogy, i don't think that there is a doubt that DB will be making huge headway.
SSB and CSFB are already very good firms, but out of the other firms.. the germans seem to be headed towards leadership soon.
I would propose GS/MS/ML/CSFB/DB, etc. etc. in the tables in a few more years.
