Base Salary is usually around HKD30000/month + bonus in the first year. Yes! Friends of mine work for GS and JPM. They have accomodation in Mid-level. |

I had the same question. I know base is the same, but what is the housing like? I have heard it is very expensive there. Do banks simply find a place for the analysts to live or do they just subsidise up to a certain monthly/yearly amount for rent?
I was thinking of going for a position in NY, but a lot of people have told me that I would make a killing in HK due to housing, taxes, etc.
