Message: I don't agree with the previous poster. I just got out of an informational interview with a "big Five" CF and I asked about the comp. He said that base is higher, esp at lower levels ie analyst and associate but bonus is somewhat smaller. So I have to disagree with the other guy, just not true, or maybe his example is an anamoly. Obviously, at higher levels, IB is more lucrative, but at lower analyst level, they are largely competitive, with some differences, but not to the extent that he cited.
