Big five
First year>>>>>> $45000 + $1500(sb)
Second year>>>>> $46000 - $49000
Third Year>>>>>> $51000 - $53000
I-Banking
First Year>>> $45000+$7000(sb)+ ($20 -45K years end bonus)
Second Year>> $55000+ ($30-$50K year end bonus)
Third Year>> $55,00-60K + 50-60K year end bonus
Afterthis you go into an accounting firm making $75K, or grad school, or VC where you will make $150K +
You make the call. |

I don't agree with the previous poster. I just got out of an informational interview with a "big Five" CF and I asked about the comp. He said that base is higher, esp at lower levels ie analyst and associate but bonus is somewhat smaller. So I have to disagree with the other guy, just not true, or maybe his example is an anamoly. Obviously, at higher levels, IB is more lucrative, but at lower analyst level, they are largely competitive, with some differences, but not to the extent that he cited.
