I think you are incorrect about the implicit claim about Broadview's quality of people.. via the b-school and blackstone comment..
If you do well at Broadview and had a good record to begin with.. nothing can stop you from the top 3 b-schools.. dunno what you are talking about |

Look at it this way -- you are competing against people with a similar background and stronger firms behind them. As a former GS analyst who is at a top 3 b-school, I can tell you that the brand name, be it GS, MS, MK or any other highly prestigious employer helps.
Think about why you want to go to a top 3 school. That's the same reason why they want people from the most prestigious firms.
I'm sorry if Broadview is the best offer you had, but it just is not good enough to get you into a top school. Good luck.
