I interviewed with couple regional banks..and from my impression and talking to other people (ones in bulge bracket), most admit houlihan lokey is probably at the top of mid market. Oh, i interviewed with morgan keegan too, didn't impress me at all.

No question- Houlihan Lokey is at the top of middle market M&A advisory, but they don't do any underwriting. Where is the best place to go if you want to work on smaller IPO deals?
