Message: Thanks for all the info. Although there wasn't a clear consensus, it's good to get an idea of the major players. Does anyone know if the SF/SV offices are more difficult to get into as opposed to the New York offices (as an associate)? From what I understand, positions in regional offices are generally easier to land as compared to most NY office positions, but I've heard that there is just such a high demand for positions in SF/SV.
