I don't mean to disrespect any Db bankers out there but from the argument i am hearing from people insde the firm, shut the fuck up?
Building an IB... bull shit. As an analyst your only concern is the next 3 years, max. No major leadership moves will be accomplished then. Further, do you honestly think you will be making a contribution to "building" the franchise? When coming out of school you should only worry about what will get you to the next thing; be it b-school, or a different job. Wake up and face the truth that a decision made based on such logic is idiotic. Now if you had another, smarter, reason why you went with the germans, please do share...
