Its incorrect to leave Deutsche Bank and Warburg Dillon Read out of this ranking.
Reasons: Globally, these two firms are no doubt among the top investment banks. WDR has stumbled a bit in the U.S., as has DB, but both.. especially Deutsche.. are building leading platforms. In particular, DB is set to be a top ranked firm across every function in the coming years.
Chase, quite frankly, doesn't really count.
Here is a more accurate scale, many other things weren't too accurate..

Agree with your comment regarding DB. This firm is rising fast, and they know it. If one wants to be a part of it full-time, the best way is to get a summer internship. Because when you come knocking on the doors later, you better have experience of GS or MSDW to ease the tough sell of being a top notch candidate.
