The base will remain largely the same, bonus, obviously, is what drives total compensation. Tony Fell only took home 225k last year in salary, yet his bonus could run as high as 10milion $. Base will rise roughly to around 100k as a VP, so expect a couple grand increase per year as you move towards promotion. Your second year your bonus should rise as a % of salary, so you should make close to 200k for sure by the third year, if not the second yr. If you are a high performer, and the group does well, then it will be higher. What it boils down to is that Cdn dealers must compete worldwide for talent so comp should be roughly the same as at US dealers.
You should make close to 400k by the time you are ready to be promoted to VP. That's my best estimates, based on info I've gathered through interviews, talks with guys in the industry, etc. Don't take my word for it, check it out independently, but I will be close. Good luck
