my advice is to go to a number of IB websites and see what schools they recruit at. Apply to the cheaper of those.
Basically, if your school is not targeted it is VERY difficult to even get an interview because you are one of _thousands_ vying for the few open slots.
Basically, take the competitivness of applying to college, and multiply by 100. |

I like your ambition, but what the hell? You are in high school! Worry about getting laid, not what career you may or may not get into.
As for schools, go to the best one you can get into. Don't worry about paying off loans. It's often a meager investment...most universities have need-blind grants in which they will pay the difference b/w what you owe and what is covered by loans.
Remember, lighten the f*&k up and have fun for christ sake.
