Message: I am an undergraduate student considering trying to get into the i-banking field after I graduate. As I read more and more about the field though, it seems like it is extremely demanding and scary--people yelling at you if you make a mistake with an analysis, multiple nights without a minute of sleep??? What do people in this line of work enjoy about it? I thought it sounded like a challenging career that would be interesting because I am interested in the securities industry, but now I don't know. Do a lot of people get into this line of work and then fail miserably after a few months?? Anyone in this line of work have any words of wisdom for me?
