I left the life of an analyst and associate investment banker for all the reasons posted on this board to become a real estate developer. I made more money on one real estate deal than 5 years as an analyst and associate at an investment bank working less hours with a great quality of life! |

I am fighting with myself presently whether to risk it all and continue with the software development product i am working on or go to do a Masters in Finance at LBS in the U.K and then get into I.B as an Associate. After I read this board everything seems to point to "stay the hell out of I.B". The money looked good, but no life, potential loss of a wife and mental strife does not sound enjoyable. Please your thoughts on my dilemna.
