I am currently a college student who is intersted in M&A, as well as LBO. I am currently a sophmore, and I am currently looking for a summer internship in any of these wonderful firms.
If you work somewhere where you hire interns, please send me an email (a t jssemail@AOL.COM).
I have a 3.6 GPA, take 6 courses per semester, and have a fulltime job.
I am looking to work 80+ hrs a week. This business is only for certain people, and I am one of them.
Thank you so much

Justin,
For all I know, you go to Harvard. That said, a 3.6 (or a 4.0 for that matter) and six classes a semester doesn't mean shit compared to the name on your sheepskin.
And even that varies from firm to firm (e.g., KKR are partial to graduates of Claremont McKenna, their alma mater, above the Ivys).
Bottom line: If you didn't go to one of the top 10 Universities or top 10 Liberal Arts Colleges (and major in econ. or math.), you will wind up in a regional firm with middling peers...regardless of your GPA.
Just the facts.
