I'm Japanese 1st year MBA student at US B-school.
Would like to know what the possibilities are in Tokyo for Associates.
In detail want to know following:
1.Which I-banks are currently recruiting MBAs for Tokyo
2. What is typical starting pay for asociates in Japan
3. Which firms good for which product areas.
4. What best approach to get job with firms like GS MSDW ML LB Salomon Deutsche
5. Importance of English
6. Job security
7. Big Bang effects. Many young people leaving Japanese Firms, so difficult to get a position? Even as MBA, no chance if no prior I-Bank experience?
Any help appreciated, especially insiders, western staff working in higher position
