I'm interested in I-banking and project finance and I'm also interested and have experience in the energy and power businesses. So when I apply for analyst positions next year, I'm curious what the top banks are for corp fin + m&a as well as trading energy commodities.

Try Credit Suisse First Boston. Head of Global Energy Group (which covers Project Finance, Electric Power and Oil & Gas) is a guy named Bayo Ogunlesi, very sharp, really kicks ass. You should keep them on your list when you're sending out resumes.
