In Reply To: Are you really that fickle?! A second ago it was your life long dream to be an I-banker! What happened to your "long hard journey" in the world of finance? One paragraph on a Vault Reports message board has already upset your conviction in your 10 year plan? Don't you have any sort of independent, thoughtful conviction in anything? Your thought process seems extremely young and immature. I'm sure that you'll respond by saying something like, "Why yes, I am immature. You are all finance Gods and I am but a stupid young man finding his way in this world. Please guide me, oh great ones." Here is some guidance: once you've gathered the facts think things out on your own, make a decision, and then act on it like you think it's right.
Message: *when I said that I questioned I-banking as a career, I did not mean that I did not want to do it, I was questioning whether it would be all that it is today. For all I know, it might not be as lucrative with its room for promotion. A lot can happen in ten years*
