UBS - Warburg, one in the same. Someone tell me that this firm isn't a goliath.. In fact, I think it still remains the world's largest financial services company. |

Sure UBS is one of the biggest banks in the world (the biggest by some measures I think?) but just because WDR is owned by them doesnt mean anything...Deutsche Bank is also one of the biggest banks in the world and has spent more money than any other company trying to build an investment bank but dont have a lot to show for it. DLJ ranks higher than WDR in the investment banking prestige tables [whatever you think of them], period. [dlj, by the way, is majority owned by AXA, which is also one of the largest financial services companies in the world.]
