I am a 26 y/o female with an M.A. seeking a job in HR consulting, management consulting, or social policy research and I need to practice my behavioral and case interview techniques with someone. I envision us meeting about twice a week for a few hours each time. We'd take turns asking and answering interview questions, and we could also critique each other's resumes, read career guides, look through job postings, etc.
You should be intelligent, professional, reasonably open-minded and preferably not allergic to cats. It would be best if you were looking for a job in consulting, market or social research, HR, or a related professional field, so that we are working on honing the same skill set. If you either have an MBA or are currently studying for the GMAT, that would be a plus, but not necessary.
We can meet at a coffee shop or library for our first meeting or two and then once we are comfortable with each other we can alternate between our apartments. It would be great if you lived in Jersey City, but Manhattan works for me, too. I currently work from home, so I can meet anytime between 9am and 9pm, weekdays or weekends.
