Does anyone have any information on this method of interviewing? How it works? How to deal with this method? |

I took a course in Targeted Selection about 20 years ago, so I'll tell you a couple of things that I remember (hope this isn't too late, but I just read this entry):
--it's a series of interviews, where each interviewer has pre-planned questions, so they don't tend to repeat.
--the key to succeeding in these interviews is to be prepared with what I call "war stories" (they call the process "building stars"). A war story (or a star) is a concrete example of a skill, with a problem (or situation), action taken to address it, and the result (numbers where possible). When all the interviewers meet afterward, they score the interview in terms of completed "stars". In other words, the more completed stars, the better. This indicates that staying concrete is the best course of action.
Hope this is helpful. If I remember any of the other facets, I'll let you know.
