If a company offers me a position but I decline, is it proper to notify them only via letter or e-mail only regarding my decline ? I dont have to tell them verbally do I ? What is the proper business ettiquete for a situation like this ? |

Call them and just say thanks but no thanks. If it's a salary issue, they may want to negotiate with you. I've declined some companies and they threw everything at me trying to change my mind. Some times it's nice to watch HR beg for once.
