When I was employed in an accounting office, my manager recieved a background check call on a previous employee. As I sat at my desk next to hers I heard her speak very "ill" about the employee in question, (which I know was very illegal)she really over stepped her bounds, giving out information about the persons lack of job knowledge and bad attitude. I would like to know if I or someone that I know would do a background check on me, and she gave her personal thoughts and gave something other than facts, do I have any recourse?
