I got an offer from SEO around December 18th. I applied NY-IB in corporate finance. I was one of the early applicants though, and I had my first round interview even before the first app deadline and my second round interview sometime in November. As far as I know 4 people from my school (including me) all got offers around the same time as me. Last year I think there were about 9 SEO interns, so assuming that this year they hire about the same number of people there are 5 "spots" yet to be filled.
If you guys haven't heard back yet though, I wouldn't worry too much about it and just plan to apply to firms individually anyway. SEO wouldn't accept anyone who wouldn't be able to get a job on their own anyway. Besides even if you do get rejected, it might mean you weren't a good fit for SEO, but that doesn't mean they didn't think you were qualified. People were telling me SEO's looking for different qualities than some banks are. There are plenty of people who got rejected from SEO but ended up getting great internships on their own.
For the Hong Kong people: I wouldn't worry about it too much if they've been late with your application. I heard they've been having trouble on their part lining up people to interview who can speak mandarin/korean to test your skills. I'm sure once they get themselves together you guys will be contacted.
