With apologies to harrison Ford's third Indiana Jones movie, I must say that in not signing this agreement you "chose well."
I wouldn't have signed that agreement as is and don't need an overpriced legal eagle to say so.
Did you ask any questions of them about what it meant?
Ciao, David. |

I asked questions, they said it was non-negotiable, and everyone there had signed it. They asked their lawyer, and I was told the response was that if it was modified for one perons, it would have to be modified for everyone. Don't know if that's really the case, but that's what they stuck to. I couldn't bring myself to sign it, continued to question it, and they withdrew the offer. Said I was not the first person they lost who couldn't agree not to compete with them. The longer I stayed there, the lower on the food chain I'd have to start elsewhere.
