The internet explosion ( exploitation?) is on. Every site has banner ads. Are they getting any mileage out of this? I talked to some persons and they felt, the revenue out of this can not be measured right now. The advantage is exposure. That we can not deny.
I am responsible for developing a portal site on education and am trying to se that there are no ads in the areas of serious nature -like a student taking on line tests. The ad comes only in the report - hat too a book /game /CD related to the test taken!
Will this work?
Another schol of thought says, 'TEXT' advertising gets more attention than the Banner ad.
The 'gurus' in this field may throw some light on the advertising - particularly if my target is 13 - 24 year Young adults
