Knight-Ridder, who in the past has taken a proactive approach to protect its
information under copyright law, now seems to be relinquishing those rights.
One of it's newspapers, The Fort Wayne News Sentinel, is in fact
supporting a political candidate who has republished several articles from
that paper on an Internet Web site. How can Knight-Ridder take any future
action, of copyright infringement, against any other party?
