In Reply To: That's bull, and you know it. You certainly have never worked in a dotcom- you're just perpetuating the myth created and hyped by the media that dotcoms buy expensive furniture, get employees drunk, and essentially waste their money without doing "work" and therefore not turning a profit. It's a bogus stereotype, like saying that all models are stupid. It's NOT TRUE! Stop believing everything that you read.
Message: maybe the reason so many dot-coms have gone down the drain is that their priorities aren't in order- what happened to hard working people who BELIEVE in a company and want to see it succeed? I work at a dot-com for almost 2 years now, and i certainly believe in it- yes, it isn't as glamorous as many expect it to be-(long hours, stress, disorganization, not enough employees, no overtime, etc.) but I am certain that i wont walk out of this company empty handed- the things I have learned here, the people i have met, the things i NOW understand, are, well priceless.....
