Five months after the internet sector took a sharp downturn on Wall Street and securing venture capital became much harder, VC firms in Europe are awash in cash. Many European internet firms that went into the public markets right before the April correction are now awash with cash and willing to spend on new mergers and acquisitions. VC firms are also cashing in on the new round of growth in the internet sector.
Why are European VC's experiencing a higher rate of success and growth after the April downturn?
