I'm doing some research on high-tech burnout-- the impact of "digital time" on our nervous system, our living and thinking style. Do you recognize any physical, mental or emotional difficulties as high-tech workers? How do you shift out of digital speed to relax your body, mind and spirit? Will you stay in this industry? Anything and everything you have to share will be greatly appreciated. |

I love working in this industry today, but my mindset is that this is something I will do for a couple years and then take it out of high gear. I'm making sacrifices right now (personal time, family time) that I am willing to accommodate for the potential rewards; at the same time, I am mature enough to recognize that I am not going to waste all of my energies chasing $ goals. This is a phase that suits me today.
