In Reply To: I've been in sales with a small startup for 3/4 a year now. The money, experience and benefits are not that good, but the title and fringe benefits are. Nonetheless, I am directly responsible for increasing sales over 300% - so obviously I'm doing something right. I feel underpayed and unfortunately, the company doesn't have any additional $$ to offer me as a reward (neiter bonus or salary). Should I stick around and wait, or am I wasting my time?
Message: You said in your post that the fringe benefits are good. If that means options and 401-k what is your vesting period? I would look around, but keep an eye on that "golden" vesting date. You have an opportunity to make the system work for you, don't move before you know what you can get! Everyone's post is on the right track...there are a lot of companies that will recognize your efforts! Congrats!
