is it true that intel has stopped hiring because of bad quarterly result? |
| Message: |
Intel has a temp hiring freeze as they just went through a massive hiring phase. They are reaccessing the best placement for all of their employees. To do so, they needed to temp freeze the hiring and see what they have and where they are all at. They have hired over 20K people in last year and half or so. The bad quarter has shifted their product focus and not the ability to pay or the need for the new employees. The product shift means people realignment. That is what they are currently doing. Once realignment has been identified, hiring will resume but not at the pace over the last year. That ramp has run its course. If you have interviewed and are in limbo, contact your Intel HR person or the hiring manager.
