Does anyone know why there are suddenly so many openings? I am supposed to go to AZ in Jan. to be interviewed for one of the 'many' Manufacturing Technician positions. I was told that there are more positions than there are candidates. Anyone know why?

I wondered about this also. They are building the staff up for Fab 32 which is being constructed now-and to bolster the existing Fabs (12 and 22)-one of which was totally gutted and re-equipped to produce the 300 MM wafers. Just do your homework, enjoy the RUSH event, and be assured that there are definitely available positions for manufacturing technicians in Chandler, AZ.
