IT Career in Financial Industry? |

I will soon be in my final year of Computer Science Degree, which means I will soon get started applying for graduate IT jobs. I canvass opinions on whether to work in Technology Industry or Finance Industry? The reason that I can not make my mind up about which one to choose is that I did a year internship with British Telecom as a web application developer. During that year, I did gain a lot of real world IT experience, which is great. However I found myself seriously lack of experience in IT management and lack of business understanding in IT. Personally I think it is essential to develop management skills as well as IT skills. What do you think? If you are an employer, what are you looking for in an IT person?
