Ok, here's the low down.
Currently an IBK analyst in the UK with a well respected British I-Banking firm (no ofice in Seoul, so no possibility of internal transfer).
Further, I am Korean, and would like to work in Seoul for a couple of years, preferably with a major European or American house.
Now here is the problem: I can't speak my native language! I can understand most of it but cannot converse, read or write using Korean.
So do I stand a chance?
Note that I have recently begun to learn the language (Berlitz, and conversational handbooks), but more so on a conversational basis.
Please advise.
