Dear Female Friend,
I was very unhappy with my 2 year experience as a SLP at HD. And I found cases of managers (local and main office) acting unprofessionally, putting me thru a "hazing process" and stone walling me, when I asked for help. It was enough for a law suit and to write an insider's guide type book.
However, I have to tell you that if there is an area for which I found evidence that HD is serious about correcting is the area of sexual harrassment. I saw time and again, long time managers being fired over it without any hesitations from higher ups.
So, if you do not feel comfortable with the way your store is being managed in that regard, pick up the phone and call the main office in Atlanta right away! In fact, call the Diversity department first.
I will not advise anyone to ever work for HD, based on my experience regarding other areas of the company's culture, but I am 100% sure that they are focused on removing sexual harrassement from the stores.
Contact the main office ASAP.
Good luck to you.
P.S. and yes, the assistant managers and male associates are like "walking sacks of testosterone", but they should not afflict you with that.

I've had to put up with a transexual comenting on my body. HRM does nothing because I'm gay. "I should enjoy the attraction".
How do I deal with it?
Any help is most welcome!
