If you are thinking about applying @ HD get ready for the new hiring process roll out for this coming peak season...
some of the new features involve:
- Scripted interviews (HR will read from a list of approved questions)
* All interviews will involve a short roll-play between you and a customer.
- Two stage interviews (You will not be informed of a job offer untill your second time in the store)
- Minimum of 45min in the interview with HR.
- Job offers will not be extended over the phone.
- You will need to do about 1-2hrs of in store training before you are sent to a centeralized training facility.
- Greater involvement from StoreManagers in the hiring process.
- Night Crew hires will spend 2-3 days on days shadowing another associate to see 'how nights crew effects days'.
