I never write on these things but I thought it would be nice for you to see the light. I've recently ended my "glamourous" consulting career after three years and let me tell you, I'd trade in that black-tie holiday party any time for my little Fortune 500 dinner party. You deserve that party for working 80+ hours a week without overtime...I make twice as much now and have a life 365 days a year, not just one. |

There is a HUGE difference between "having a life" and "living a life" my friend. From what I've seen on this bulletin board, apparently that distinction falls along Fortune 500/Non-Fortune 500 company lines?
Spoken as a true consultant, working 70 hours a week, and happily getting COMPLETELY wasted at the company Christmas party and any other events they offer me!
