Last year, the holiday spirit got a bit too loose. Of course, everyone overindulged in the free beverages, and an employee started flirting with a co-founder's girlfriend. It got ugly. The next thing we know, the co-founder is running out the door, chasing the employee down the street. Luckily, no one got their ass kicked, but the party was pretty much over at that point. It was quite funny, but the next day you could feel the tension in the air. Surprisingly, that employee is still here. Can't wait to see what happens this year! |

We had our holiday party last Wednesday, and it was wild. One guy who drank too much started a fight with the bartender and got arrested! Apparently he thought the bartender was hitting on his girlfriend. He wasn't in work the next day, but on Friday he had to see the HR manager. From what I could gleam, he got yelled at, but not much else.
Irresponsible or not, it was damned funny, and I would definitely prefer the wild party to the boring party- as long as I'm not the one being wild- lol.
