It's time to separate the "haves" from the "have-nots". As the stock price starts to rise, those with grants will be happier than those who don't. And we all know that there are more "have-nots" than there are "haves".
The problem is that the "haves" will selfishly think everyone should be happier now that the stock is higher; because it is the only reason they are still there they think it is the same reason everyone else is still there.
But for most of us, a higher stock price means absolutely nothing.

Loving my 100 oneshares grants now... oh yeah! What are they worth? 3 grand? Most of us didn't get large grants.
