Hello people,
I am a Hewitt Associate who has been at this company for awhile. Well, I am pretty fed up with this company that sucks life out of their employees by tipping the scale of work-life balance towards work and a company which continues to feed their shareholders with fluffy stories about overall employee satisfaction and operational success. Wake up Associates! What are we going to be about the oppression?
Has that time come? Are we going to be responsible and stand-up against their unfair actions and motives by making ourselves be heard? A corporation, fattening the wallets of their executives while torturing Associates with 50, 55 and 60+ hour weeks??.are we not human? Do we not bleed blood when cut and do we not scream when hurt.
I have seen the blood and heard the screaming, yet we ignore this. Why? Because we feel that we must continue to endure this endless cycle because we are dependant on this corporation. Why, because we are inundated with debt, have our dependants counting on the HA paycheck and have this mass delusion that things will get better?
How can you think that when the company has cut so many benefits? They have cut your food program, they have taken away all your sick days, they have forced out the experienced employees thereby creating more stress on those left to shoulder more responsibilities for what? For pitiful pay, woeful pay increases (1-2% pay increases) and longer hours. What are going to do? Let us start with an open dialogue on a way to unite and stand up for our rights? It is your choice...what will it be?

It is a total pity that Hewitt TBA degenerated into a sweathshop over the last 2-3 years.
Give it another 6-12 months and the trickle of people leaving now will be a stampede.
Hopefully by that time we would have trained our Gurgaon and Chennai counterparts so that they can smoothy take over our jobs.
