let's add up all of the charitable giving you think you'll do in your LIFETIME and see if it comes close to $650,000. Does it make you feel more charitable to question someone else's motives for giving? Whether you like his management or not, he has accumulated considerable wealth without stealing and is sharing some of it. If you are ever in the same position, maybe you can outdo him and then you can gloat. |

the charity doesn't get $650,000. They have to sell the stock and pay the taxes to get the money. Meanwhile, Dale looks like he gifted $650,000.
You fell for it. That was the point.
Additionally, I don't need to or care to gloat over my charitable contributions. Neither should anyone else. That was the other point.
