In Reply To: Oh gee... if we get a whole bunch of anonymous people to bash Hewitt with -45's, we can be #1. Wow, that's so scientfic. Funny, the high ratings correlate to very few postings and the low ratings correlate to lots of postings. The numbers accumulate, not average out.
Message: "Funny, the high ratings correlate to very few postings and the low ratings correlate to lots of postings." Nice insight, Captain Obvious. That's because there are more unhappy campers than happy campers. Your engagement score would be a good estimate of what would happen here if you had a representative sample, which I admit you probably don't. So, if more people are unhappy than happy, you would fully expect the number of low ratings to increase in the number of people doing reviews, especially since the disgruntled are more likely to speak out. "The numbers accumulate, not average out." That's true. On an average scale, which I would say is more representative, Hewitt ranks 8th among companies in that list. Alright people. If you want to be #1 on a basis that makes Any Old Associate happy, a lot of you are going to have to post extremely low ratings to pull down that average score per review.
