Message: No matter what people say on this board who are pro or against hew, there is no agrument that discontent is present at HEW, and that is a fact. As "RectalCranial Advocate" says, all you need to look at is the Engagement Score (this is evidence enough of the discontent, which nobody can contest). Whether the discontent is attributed to bad management, no career progression, not gaining proper training, not being listened to when giving ideas, etc. etc. that can be put up to debate. Unfortunately the engagement scores do not elaborate why they are so low. Everybody has a different opinion on why this is. By talking to other associates you can some common themes on why its so low. The good thing is that there is only one way to go - well it can really go lower, but for the good of the company (and the associates ofcourse), we all hope it goes up. Whether that happens or not, only time will tell. In my personal view, I hope the damage can be corrected which will take a lot of effort on both management and associates. But the main reason of this response is to say that RectalCranial Advocate it correct, no matter how you look at it, engagement is incredibly low - meaning there is a lot of discontent within the firm.
