You should realize that there is much more racism outside of the USA than inside it. He is probably par for the course for overseas in terms of racism. (Don't you know the Indians all mock the US workers while they slack?)
And his complaints are more than likely partly true at least. Businesses in that part of the world vary, and what he described sounds like the USA circa 1940-1970. |
