Gotta agree with you anon....I am a Manager and I gotta tell you reading this board is really making me wonder who all these people are that think life at HEW is so awful.
I find it really amazing that these people really vent some serious steam and issues here yet probably walk around the office like field mice. How about some ideas? How about some thoughts? MAKE IT BETTER! I am tired of trying to make people happy and manage them through the "bad" times?! How about some performance and quality?
And please, if you have a beef then address it. Sure seems like most on here are cowardly and afraid to address the real issues in the real office. What prevents any of you from going to your managers/leaders and developing some ideas for change??

if you are a manager, don't get yourself riled up by what you see here. some of it probably is true venting (which I do think is a waste of energy to do here.) Some of it is meant to get your goat. If you can help set someone straight and you have the time and inclination, so be it. But venting your own frustration at the posters here is even more futile than their venting. Best thing a manager can do IMHO is to create the right atmosphere AT WORK for people to make their feelings known AT WORK where something constructive can come of it. Best of luck in your efforts to make a difference.
